Trevor got some new goggles for the swimming pool but he decided to use them for driving Lightning McQueen! He looks goofy! He also gave Taylor aride in McQueen, what a nice brother he is!

Taylor's Birthday!

For Taylor's Birthday we went to Springfield Missouri with Grana Ruthewic to celebrate with Grana and Papa Knudson. We all went to the Incredible Pizza Place where we ate the huge pizza buffett. Then the boys played games and rode the rides there. Trevor rode the bumper cars, and Taylor rode the train and the merry-go-round. They both got to go minature golfing! Later we went back to the Knudson's and had cake (which I had to make because the bakery at Wal-mart was closed due to a boil water order!) and opened presents. Taylor opened a couple of presents at home before we went to Springfield. They were a truck and a Digger shirt. We had a pretty good time and the boys were wore out on the drive home!

Happy 4th of July

Well it was an exciting weekend for us. We went up to Springfield Missouri to spend the 4th with Mike's parents. We went to the Zoo and then we had a BBQ and then set off some fireworks at Mike's parent's house. We didn't have very many to light because in the neighborhood his parents live in the neighbors do plenty. Mike and the kids ate watermelon after the firework display. We stayed the night in Springfield and then on Saturday we went to Wheatland Missouri to watch the dirt track races. That was alot of fun. Mike and the boys got to ride go-karts that they have at the track and Trevor even got to drive his very own go-kart. I wasn't able to ride because I wasn't wearing the proper shoes (had flip flops on)! Anyway we staying in Springfield again on Saturday night so we wouldn't have to drive clear back to Harrison. Since Wheatland is an hour away from Springfield and the races went late. They had some good races. They raced the late models like the ones that Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, and those other Nascar guys race. There was a boy who was 14 years old racing there too. He was pretty good for someone who doesn't even have a driver's liscense! We came home on Sunday afternoon to relax a little bit after our long weekend. It was a nice little mini getaway for us and much needed one at that.
